What is the difference between dry cleaning and laundry?
Dry cleaning uses specialist solvents rather than water, making it ideal for delicate or structured garments. Laundry uses water and detergents for everyday clothing. At Laundrybelle, we assess each item and use the most appropriate method to achieve the best result.
How do you clean each item?
Garments are individually inspected on arrival. We check care labels, fabric type and any stains before selecting the correct cleaning process. Items are then professionally finished using steam and pressing techniques.
How do you handle delicate garments?
Delicates are treated with particular care. We use gentle cleaning processes and controlled finishing techniques to protect fabrics such as silk, wool and embellished items. Where necessary, items are cleaned individually.
Is Laundrybelle suitable for families?
Yes. We provide convenient laundry services for busy households, including everyday washing, ironing and larger items such as bedding and duvets. Our service is designed to save time while maintaining a high standard of care.
Do you offer services for businesses?
We provide workwear and linen cleaning services to local retailers and businesses. We also partnership with local agents on a discretionary basis. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
What are your typical turnaround times?
Most items are ready within 24–48 hours. Some specialist items, such as wedding dresses or heavily soiled garments, may take longer. We will always advise you at the point of drop-off or booking.
Do you offer collection and delivery?
Not currently, but we plan to in the future. We offer collection and delivery for our contract customers.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major debit and credit cards. Contactless payment is also available in-store.
Can you remove all stains?
Not all stains can be completely removed, particularly if they have been left untreated for some time or dried in. We use professional stain removal techniques to give every item the best possible outcome.
Do you clean duvets and large items?
Yes. We clean duvets, pillows, quilts and toppers.
How should I prepare my items before bringing them in?
We request you empty all pockets and ensure the item is not damaged or excessively soiled
Do you offer ironing-only services?
Yes. If your items are already clean, we can professionally press and finish them, leaving them ready to wear or store.
Is your service environmentally conscious?
We are regularly reviewing and improving our processes and equipment to reduce environmental impact, including using modern cleaning technologies and efficient systems where possible.

Do you do repairs? I have a jacket with a broken zip
Yes we take in garment repairs, including zip replacements. We also carry out minor repairs free of charge, such as sewing on a button. Call us on 01625 429222 or speak to us in-store and we will advise on options and turnaround times.
